However, what I am able to report at this point is that Families SA Child Abuse Report Line received 5,586 notifications of suspected child abuse and neglect during the period 1 January to 31 March, 2010. Of this number:</text>

        </text>
        <text id="2010062237512e946538421490000595">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">3,289 were assessed as Tier 2</item>
        </text>
        <text id="2010062237512e946538421490000596">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">1,067 were assessed as Tier 3</item>
        </text>
        <text continued="true" id="2010062237512e946538421490000597">The remaining 967 notifications were categorised as extra-familial abuse, or protective factors in place.</text>
