LOMAX-SMITH (Adelaide—Minister for Education, Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Minister for Tourism, Minister for the City of Adelaide) (14:49):  </by>I do not think the deputy leader was listening when it was explained to her that our level of government does not actually deal with FOI requests. It is not a level of decision making that comes through the minister's office. Properly, it is not something that ministers should interfere with and, unlike the previous government, we do not filter the requests. Unlike the previous government, we do not decide what information will be released. Unlike the previous government, we allow the process to go through according to the criteria set down. It is not a decision made by myself. In fact, we are very generous in allowing significant sums of money to be spent on fulfilling the requests of those opposite.</text>
