Did he mislead the public in relation to the amount of land tax revenue collected by his government? On Thursday, 16 April, when asked what land tax is worth to the government every year, the Treasurer stated: Land tax in excess of, I think, $200 million, but we've had land tax as a stable tax base of this state for decades.
