The emissions generated depends on the extent to which these plants operate in any given year but, the Electricity Supply Industry Planning Council's 2008 Annual Planning Report stated that the Northern and Playford power stations generated a combined total of 4,900GWh in 2007-08. The Government is not in a position to comment on the emissions intensity of specific privately operated electricity generating facilities.
