M.D. RANN (Ramsay—Premier, Minister for Economic Development, Minister for Social Inclusion, Minister for the Arts, Minister for Sustainability and Climate Change): I have been advised of the following: Section 7 the Climate Change and Greenhouse Emissions Reduction Act 2007 outlines the requirement for two-yearly reports on the operations of the Act. According to Section 7 clause 4, the first report under this section must be completed and tabled in Parliament by the end of 2009. Preparations have already commenced within the Sustainability and Climate Change Division of the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
