        <text id="200902036dddf4e5fb0c490eb0000328">(a)&amp;#x9;The number of households on the Category 1 waiting list for Housing SA accommodation varies each month. On average, in 2007-08 there were 2890 households in Category 1 waiting for Housing SA accommodation. Please note however that these figures include both new applicants and current residents seeking transfer.</text>
        <text id="200902036dddf4e5fb0c490eb0000329">(b)&amp;#x9;The number of vacant houses owned by the SA Housing Trust (Housing SA) varies each month. On average, 1586 homes are vacant in any given month. This represents approximately 3.5% of total stock.</text>
        <text id="200902036dddf4e5fb0c490eb0000330">(c)&amp;#x9;Common reasons for these vacancies are:</text>
        <text id="200902036dddf4e5fb0c490eb0000331">
          <item sublevel="3">Properties being reinstated for reallocation,</item>
        </text>
        <text id="200902036dddf4e5fb0c490eb0000332">
          <item sublevel="3">Properties identified for demolition through urban renewal programs,</item>
        </text>
        <text id="200902036dddf4e5fb0c490eb0000333">
          <item sublevel="3">Properties being sold through the Affordable Homes Program.</item>
        </text>
