ATKINSON (Croydon—Attorney-General, Minister for Justice, Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Minister for Veterans' Affairs) (15:01): </by> Alas, the member for Davenport has not paid sufficient attention to Justice David's summing up in the Easling trial. He has not paid sufficient attention to the trial transcript. He has not paid much attention to the article by Jamie Walker in <term>The Australian</term> where he interviewed Tom Easling about this very matter. If he paid attention to those matters, he would see that there is a more than adequate substratum of fact for anything that government ministers have said in this house. An inquiry is being conducted by the Crown Solicitor himself into this matter. I will report to the house in due course. The report is not yet with me.</text>
