The Hon. M.J. ATKINSON House of Assembly The Hon. M.J. ATKINSON: I move: That the amendments made by the Legislative Council be agreed to. These amendments increase the penalty for the proposed offences of indecent filming and distribution of indecent film where the subject of the film is a minor. They reflect parliament's disapproval of the indecent filming of minors. In particular, I would like to say how pleased I am that the Parliament of South Australia prevailed against representations against this bill by Advertiser Newspapers and the ABC.
