What was the reason for the transfer of $500,000 from the Department of the Premier and Cabinet on or around 28 June this year (on the eve of the end of the financial year) to the account of the Ernabella Early Childhood Centre, a non-audited account? What I do know, though, is that there has been a commitment and, indeed, an announcement to establish a children's centre at Ernabella, an incredibly important initiative designed to promote the early childhood development of some of our most vulnerable children within this state. I suspect (I will check on this) that it was directed at that very worthy initiative.
