WRIGHT (Lee—Minister for Industrial Relations, Minister for Finance, Minister for Government Enterprises, Minister for Recreation, Sport and Racing):</by>  The Health and Safety Workplace Partnership Program is a South Australian Government initiative forming part of a broader strategy to significantly reduce workplace injury. This program aims to provide registered employee associations with membership in industries of demonstrated high risk with the opportunity to facilitate employee participation within improved occupational health, safety and welfare (OHSW) outcomes.</text>
        <text id="200807033992a20baa2146d5a0000440">The government's intention is to provide the opportunity for employee associations to work with their members, other employees and relevant employers to improve consultation and OHSW problem solving in workplaces.</text>
        <text id="200807033992a20baa2146d5a0000441">The program compliments the existing training of HSRs provided by employee associations that are Approved HSR Training Providers (ATP).</text>
        <text id="200807033992a20baa2146d5a0000442">There are similar programs operating interstate, aimed at improving OHSW in the workplace by funding employee associations. Information on interstate programs is available from various state government offices listed below:</text>
