            <inserted>(1)&amp;#x9;The Minister must, as soon as practicable after 31 December 2010, appoint an independent person to carry out a review concerning—</inserted>
          </item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="4">
            <inserted>(a)&amp;#x9;the impact of this Act on workers who have suffered compensable disabilities and been affected by the operation of this Act; and</inserted>
          </item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="4">
            <inserted>(b)&amp;#x9;the impact of this Act on levies paid by employers under Part 5 of the principal Act; and</inserted>

            <inserted>(c)&amp;#x9;the impact of this Act on the sufficiency of the Compensation Fund to meet the liabilities of the WorkCover Corporation of South Australia under the principal Act; and</inserted>

            <inserted>(d)&amp;#x9;such other matters as the Minister may determine.</inserted>

            <inserted>(2)&amp;#x9;The person appointed by the Minister under subclause (1) must present to the Minister a report on the outcome of the review no later than 4 months following his or her appointment.</inserted>

          <item sublevel="2">
            <inserted>(3)&amp;#x9;The Minister must, within 6 sitting days after receiving the report, have copies of the report laid before both Houses of Parliament.</inserted>

            <inserted>(4)&amp;#x9;In this clause, terms used have meanings consistent with the meanings they have in the principal Act.</inserted>

              <term>principal Act</term> means the <term>Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1986</term>.</inserted>

          <text continued="true" id="2008061768c4321813914e3490000625">This amendment provides for a review as soon as practicable after 31 December 2010. The government thinks there is some good logic to this amendment and is happy to move that the amendment be accepted.</text>
