ATKINSON (Croydon—Attorney-General, Minister for Justice, Minister for Multicultural Affairs):</by>  The funding allocated to the Penalty Management Services has not been reduced in 2007-08. As reported in the 2007-08 Portfolio Statements, the Expenditure Budget for the Penalty Management Services for the 2007-08 financial year is $9,940,000 which is an increase on the budget for the 2006-07 financial year, which was $9,840,000.</text>
        <text id="20080228145dc3879b974544a0000344">There has been a decrease in the net cost of providing services from 2006-07 to 2007-08 but this is a result of a budgeted increase in income.</text>
