Was the computer system which closed down the train network on 1 November the same computer system which failed in May 2006, when several trains advanced beyond safety points, resulting in drivers being suspended from duty? I will check whether that is the date, but I assume that is correct. An honourable member interjecting: The Hon. P.F. CONLON House of Assembly The Hon. P.F. CONLON: It was not, I am told. I will check that for the honourable member. I am not quite sure about those dates, but the new system was installed about 18 months ago. I am reliably advised that it is a state-of-the-art system. It is regrettable that it did have problems. It is on the record, it is all there, the computer system failed. And I have told them that I would be really happy if they made sure it did not fail again.
