        <text id="20071016ffee87c9efae44fea0000319">The Department has implemented the following new processes to review certificates and leave return registers</text>
        <text id="20071016ffee87c9efae44fea0000320">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">An automated system has been developed and is being implemented to assist with reviewing, returning and following up on non-compliance </item>
        </text>
        <text id="20071016ffee87c9efae44fea0000321">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">A revised policy has been issued to draw all managers' attention to the requirement for certificates and leave returns to be completed in a timely manner</item>
        </text>
        <text id="20071016ffee87c9efae44fea0000322">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Manual processes have been strengthened to include the forwarding on a fortnightly basis of reminder notices and, if necessary, second reminders are issued.</item>
        </text>
        <text id="20071016ffee87c9efae44fea0000323">Payroll and employee services for the former DAIS Divisions are provided by the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF).</text>
