        <text id="20121130acc3fb8e55eb463fa0000054">The portfolio statement report is the total area of CBD offices (including both government owned and leased office buildings). The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure believes that a more accurate indicator is to report the area and cost of leased accommodation across the state.</text>
        <text id="20121130acc3fb8e55eb463fa0000055">The total area and cost of government leases with the private sector (i.e. excluding government owned assets) across the state is 368,324m² at an estimated cost of $128,743,000 in 2012-13, broken down as follows:</text>
        <text id="20121130acc3fb8e55eb463fa0000056">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">243,051m² in the Adelaide CBD at a cost of $103,350,000</item>
        </text>
        <text id="20121130acc3fb8e55eb463fa0000057">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">98,442m² in the metropolitan area at a cost of $20,115,000</item>
        </text>
        <text id="20121130acc3fb8e55eb463fa0000058">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">26,831m² in regional South Australia at a cost of $5,278,000.</item>
