          <by role="member" id="535">The Hon. J.D. HILL (Kaurna—Minister for Health and Ageing, Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Minister for the Arts):</by>  I am advised:</text>
        <text id="201211300fea07e534d649c380000068">1.&amp;#x9;The Amata Family Wellbeing Centre (the Centre) in the APY Lands, formerly known as the DASSA Substance Misuse Facility, transitioned to the operational management and responsibility of Country Health SA Local Health Network on 1 January 2012.</text>

        <text id="201211300fea07e534d649c380000069">The goal of the Centre is to improve child, family and community wellbeing, and provide access to services in a more coordinated and integrated manner.</text>
        <text id="201211300fea07e534d649c380000070">The expenditure budget includes staff costs of $768,000 and goods and services of $559,000, offset by revenue funding of $250,000 provided by SA Health, with the balance provided by Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation Division, Department of the Premier and Cabinet. Capital expenditure is being determined by the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure design team and the tenderer currently working through the design specification.</text>
        <text id="201211300fea07e534d649c380000071">The Amata Anangu Wellbeing Executive group will meet regularly (proposed to be quarterly) with service delivery agency management representatives to discuss local service delivery issues.</text>
        <text id="201211300fea07e534d649c380000072">Numerous interim measures will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the service delivery, such as:</text>
        <text id="201211300fea07e534d649c380000073">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">establishing the Amata Social Health Action Plan</item>
        </text>
        <text id="201211300fea07e534d649c380000074">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">identifying existing agency programs relating to the Action Plan's priorities</item>
        </text>
        <text id="201211300fea07e534d649c380000075">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">identifying gaps and establishing new programs to respond to these priorities.</item>
        </text>
        <text continued="true" id="201211300fea07e534d649c380000076">The new arrangements for the operation of the Centre have not yet been in place long enough for a valid evaluation of its effectiveness to be conducted.</text>
