<text id="201010155a9af8a6419a4c0ab0000059">Expenditure of $4.846 million (this incorporates under-expenditure from 2008-09) was allocated in 2009-10 as a part of the Port Adelaide Viaduct upgrade project. A total of $27.658 million was spent on the Port Adelaide Viaduct upgrade in 2009-10. The timing of this expenditure was coordinated with other expenditure for track upgrade, station upgrade and other bridge works on the Port Adelaide Viaduct and on the Outer Harbor line. This coordination was aimed at maximising the benefits of the necessary closure of part of the Outer Harbor line.</text>
