O'BRIEN (Napier—Minister for Employment, Training and Further Education, Minister for Road Safety, Minister for Science and Information Economy):</by>  The most recently available cost per participant for the Youth Conservation Corps program for a full financial year was $3,236 in 2007-08.</text>
        <text id="20090703fb0ed2f207414a1fa0000138">The cost per participant for programs and projects assisting young people into training and employment through South Australia Works vary depending on the scope of the program, the types of activity and assistance funded and the characteristics of those participating, i.e. their relative level of disadvantage and existing educational levels. Because of this variation in scope the cost per individual program within South Australia Works is generally not directly comparable.</text>
