LOMAX-SMITH (Adelaide—Minister for Education, Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Minister for Tourism, Minister for the City of Adelaide):</by>  The Department of Education and Children's Services has provided the following information:</text>
        <text id="20090703719f4f74fc5a45d8a0000086">Schools are required to report critical incidents. While the report is required to identify the school, the date of the incident and provide a brief description of the incident, the report does not necessarily identify student characteristics such as non-English speaking background, Aboriginality, special needs or the particular disability of a student.</text>
        <text id="20090703719f4f74fc5a45d8a0000087">The number of critical incident reports that have been lodged involving students with special needs or disabilities who enrolled in DECS special schools in the past five years is as follows:</text>
