P. HOLLOWAY (Minister for Mineral Resources Development, Minister for Urban Development and Planning, Minister for Small Business): The approved budget for the crime gangs taskforce computer system includes $5.181 million for capital expenditure over the next five years. There is also a recurrent budget allocated to this project for one civilian FTE to administer the system and for the purchase of IT equipment. The IT equipment includes servers, database licenses and software. The approved recurrent budget for this system over the next four years, as published in Budget paper 3, Budget statement, page 2.15 is $0.695 million. Therefore, the total approved funding for this initiative is $5.876 million, reflected in the rounded announcement of $5.9 million.
