HILL (Kaurna—Minister for Health, Minister for the Southern Suburbs, Minister Assisting the Premier in the Arts): I am advised: Approximately 9,000 outpatient services are provided annually at Noarlunga Health Service. Outpatient appointments may sometimes be cancelled if say a doctor is sick but this is not common and new appointments are rescheduled as soon possible. Patients themselves may cancel and some just don't show up. I am not sure how Ms Chapman derived the figure of 6,000 cancellations but if she would like to provide me with the details I would be happy to look into it. Planning is underway to increase outpatient services provided at Noarlunga Health Service.
