          <by role="member" id="1810">The Hon. J.R. RAU (Enfield—Deputy Premier, Attorney-General, Minister for Planning, Minister for Industrial Relations, Minister for Business Services and Consumers):</by>  I have received this advice:</text>
        <text id="20131115a19f06e52c724cbca0000093">The following organisations/agencies were allocated additional funding in 2012-13:</text>
        <text continued="true" id="20131115a19f06e52c724cbca0000094">Yarrow Place Rape and Sexual Assault Service, Women's and Children's Health Network, SA Health</text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Allocated $244,000 in 2012-13.</item>
        </text>
        <text id="20131115a19f06e52c724cbca0000096">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Funding will:</item>
        </text>
        <text id="20131115a19f06e52c724cbca0000097">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">improve accessibility to assistance for victims of sexual assault in regional areas; and</item>
        </text>
        <text id="20131115a19f06e52c724cbca0000098">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">enhance statewide services for victims of sexual assault aged 16 years and over.</item>
        </text>
        <text id="20131115a19f06e52c724cbca0000099">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Although Yarrow Place has received an annual grant of $100,000 paid from the VOC Fund for several years, the $244,000 is new funding for the initiatives listed above.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Allocated $100,000 in 2012-13.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">The framework seeks to ensure services to families most at risk of violence are provided in a more structured and systematic way, through agencies sharing information about high risk families and taking responsibility for supporting these families to navigate the system of services to help them.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Allocated $69,000 in 2012-13, likely to be received in 2013-14.</item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Funding will maintain the Mental Health Victim Register under the <term>Statutes Amendment (Victims of Crime) Act 2007</term>.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Allocated $50,000 in 2012-13.</item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Expansion of previously provided services. VSS provides free and confidential help to adult victims of crime, witnesses, their family, and friends across SA.</item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">These services were previously funded by the VOC Fund, on a smaller scale.</item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Allocated $15,500 in 2012-13.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">First time a dedicated sum has been set aside for this purpose.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Expansion of previously provided services. Providing support to people who have been affected by road trauma.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">These services were previously funded by the VOC Fund, on a smaller scale.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Allocated $5,500 in 2012-13.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">First time a dedicated sum has been set aside for this purpose.</item>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">These services were previously funded on an ad hoc basis from the VOC Fund rather than a recurrent budgeted item.</item>
        </text>
        <text continued="true" id="20131115a19f06e52c724cbca0000121">To my knowledge, other than where indicated above, none of these services were previously provided by government.</text>
