WEATHERILL (Cheltenham—Premier, Treasurer, Minister for State Development, Minister for the Public Sector, Minister for the Arts): I have been advised of the following: The Public Sector Skills and Experience Retention Entitlement came into effect on 1 July 2012; however, eligible employees have only been able to access the leave from 1 July 2013. An employee may convert the entitlement to a monetary amount fixed by the regulations although this has also been in place since 1 July 2013. Due to the recent implementation, data on utilisation of the scheme is not available.
