I.K. HUNTER (Minister for Communities and Social Inclusion, Minister for Social Housing, Minister for Disabilities, Minister for Youth, Minister for Volunteers): I am advised that during 2010-11 minor works were carried out at the facility which included several concrete pathways, external improvements and interior painting of the administration building, and a replacement commercial stove/cooker. The cost of this work totalled $21,700. The scope of a current review will help inform future requirements and subsequent capital expenditure at the facility in future financial years. Regular day-to-day maintenance will continue to be carried out on an as-needs basis to ensure that appropriate accommodation, health and safety standards satisfy relevant regulatory requirements. The budgeted operating expense of the facility in 2011-12 was $1,162,098. This has increased to $1,191,150 in the 2012-13 financial year.
