        <text id="2011070803c91a65f25f4a6480000013">1.&amp;#x9;There is a known issue with CapPlan, where occasionally patients discharges are missed during the data exchange. As such, these patients show in CapPlan as accruing time although they have been discharged. This issue is currently being resolved with the vendor. As a result, internal data sources at the Flinders Medical Centre are utilised for monitoring average length of stay (ALOS) calculations while the issue is being resolved.</text>
        <text id="2011070803c91a65f25f4a6480000014">2.&amp;#x9;1 January 2011—30 June 2011, the ALOS for patients leaving the Flinders Medical Centre Emergency Department is currently 3.81 hours. The ALOS for patients who left the Emergency Department on 23 June 2011 was 5.17 hours (median 4.6 hours), and on 30 June 2011 was 5.67 (median 4.59).</text>
