RANKINE (Wright—Minister for Families and Communities, Minister for Housing, Minister for Ageing, Minister for Disability):  </by>The maintenance budget for non-fair wear and tear in 2009-10 was $4.92 million—an increase of $840,000—with actual expenditure of $4.52 million.</text>
        <text id="20101015e62bf03c5b83465e80000064">This allowed for a one-off increase to repairs identified through the introduction of annual home visits to all public housing properties in March 2009. More than 50,000 visits were conducted from March 2009 to 30 June 2010.</text>
        <text id="20101015e62bf03c5b83465e80000065">The annual budget for non-fair wear and tear in 2010-11 is $4.08 million which reflects a return to normal operating conditions.</text>
        <text id="20101015e62bf03c5b83465e80000066">Housing SA seeks to recover all non-fair wear and tear charges from tenants.</text>
