          <by role="member" id="634">The Hon. M.D. RANN (Ramsay—Premier, Minister for Economic Development, Minister for Social Inclusion, Minister for the Arts, Minister for Sustainability and Climate Change):</by>  I have been advised the following:</text>
        <text id="20101015dea33d27c8564727a0000042">In July 2007, Arts SA commenced the Greening of the Gallery project to upgrade the air conditioning and lighting within the Elder and Melrose Galleries of the Art Gallery of South Australia.</text>
        <text id="20101015dea33d27c8564727a0000043">A total project budget of $2.5m inclusive of all fees was allocated. These funds were allocated for both the air conditioning upgrade and the new lighting system for the Elder and Melrose Galleries.</text>
        <text id="20101015dea33d27c8564727a0000044">The first phase of the project, being the upgrade to the air conditioning within the Elder and Melrose Wings, was completed in January 2010 and is achieving the recommended climate conditions for the collections.</text>
        <text id="20101015dea33d27c8564727a0000045">On 20 September 2010, the second, and final, phase of the project to upgrade the lighting system within Galleries 1, 2, 3 a, b and c commenced construction. This phase of the Greening of the Gallery project is programmed for completion in December 2010.</text>
        <text id="20101015dea33d27c8564727a0000046">As the second, and final, phase of the Greening of the Gallery project is not yet completed, full project details are included in the 2010-11 Capital Investment Statement, Budget Paper 5.</text>
