          <by role="member" id="3127">Ms PORTOLESI (Hartley—Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation, Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Minister for Youth, Minister for Volunteers):  </by>In response to a question (Hansard Estimates Committee A, page 272), I advised the committee that Sophia Poppe had been appointed to gather data on settlement services provided to humanitarian entrants in South Australia.</text>
        <text id="201010151699ac64d0b840afa0000196">I have since been advised that in late 2009 and early 2010, Multicultural SA engaged a contractor, Alina Lebed, to gather the data on settlement services provided to humanitarian entrants. This data will soon be available on the Multicultural SA website.</text>
        <text id="201010151699ac64d0b840afa0000197">The Government appointed Sophia Poppe as the Director of Settlement Services for Humanitarian Entrants in April this year and she has been consulting very extensively with people in the sector.</text>
