P. CAICA (Colton—Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, Minister for Industrial Relations, Minister for Forests, Minister for Regional Development): I am advised: 1.	There was no Regional Impact Assessment Statement (RIAS) undertaken. As per the RIAS policy, a statement is only needed when there is a significant change in services to regions. I am further advised that considerable consultation was undertaken with the affected communities on options in preparing this Bill. In addition, the Bill itself requires considerable consultation prior to the implementation of some key matters.
