          <by role="member" id="532">The Hon. K.O. FOLEY (Port Adelaide—Deputy Premier, Treasurer, Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Federal/State Relations):</by>  I have been provided with the following information:</text>
        <text id="20090703736de5ba1b5a455fa0000186">The full time equivalents for 30 June 2008 quoted in budget paper 4 Volume 1 page 2.3 was 181.8. This number represents the number of filled positions out of a total establishment of 206 full time equivalents. 24.2 full time equivalents were unfilled. The movement between 206 full time equivalents and the 2008-9 Estimated Result of 214.8 was 8.8 full time equivalents.</text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">4 additional FTE for graduate positions</item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">4 additional FTE for the Olympic Dam Task Force</item>
        </text>
        <text id="20090703736de5ba1b5a455fa0000190">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">1.8 additional FTE transferred to DTED from other agencies previously provided to DTED under shared services arrangements</item>
        </text>
        <text id="20090703736de5ba1b5a455fa0000191">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">2.5 additional FTE transferred into DTED with the transfer of the Creative Industries Team from DPC</item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">-1 FTE for the Regionalisation of SASP (one year program only)</item>
        </text>
        <text id="20090703736de5ba1b5a455fa0000193">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">-1 FTE Office of the Venture Capital board positions (Chief Executive) being no longer required with the transfer to DTED</item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">-1 FTE transferred out to Cabinet office to support its establishment</item>
        </text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">-0.5 FTE change in part time hours for some employees</item>
        </text>
        <text id="20090703736de5ba1b5a455fa0000196">The mid year budget review for 2008-9 required DTED to reduce by 10 full time equivalents for the 2009-10 year. This has been achieved simultaneously to the restructure. The restructure has resulted in 39 positions being abolished with 29 new positions being created which are aligned to the priority areas of the Department in accordance with the Strategic Directions 2009-14.</text>
