FOLEY (Port Adelaide—Deputy Premier, Treasurer, Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Federal/State Relations):</by>  Investment attraction luncheons were held in Sydney and Melbourne during 2008-09, attended by senior executives from significant companies based in these capitals.</text>
        <text id="200907034dc782d1ce6342ae80000147">The purpose of the luncheons was to promote investment opportunities in South Australia to chief executives and senior personnel from national and international companies in Sydney and Melbourne. Guests received presentations by:</text>

          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">The Premier;</item>
        </text>
        <text id="200907034dc782d1ce6342ae80000149">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Dr Ian Gould, Chairman of the South Australian Minerals and Petroleum Expert Group (SAMPEG) and member of the Economic Development Board on the resources sector; and</item>
        </text>
        <text id="200907034dc782d1ce6342ae80000150">
          <item sublevel="1" bullet="true">Mr Andrew Fletcher, Chief Executive of Defence SA on opportunities and developments in the defence sector in South Australia. </item>
        </text>
        <text id="200907034dc782d1ce6342ae80000151">I am advised that the cost of the Sydney Investment Attraction Luncheon held on Friday 28 November 2008 was $27,303.66. The cost of the Melbourne Investment Attraction Luncheon held on Thursday 12 March 2009 was $19,765.05.</text>
