ATKINSON (Croydon—Attorney-General, Minister for Justice, Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Minister for Veterans' Affairs): I have received this advice: The budget increase between the 2007-08 estimated result of $14.128 million and the 2008-09 budget of $16.933 million for sub-program: 1.2 public prosecutions is $2.805 million. Of this amount, $2.012 million is provided for additional staff, prosecutors and associated costs from 2008-09. The balance of funding relates to enterprise bargaining and supplementation, annual indexation and other departmental expenses allocated to this sub-program.
